This family owned outfit operates in North Central New Mexico in Zones 6a & 6c. They live and work year around in the zones they guide in, spending endless days on horse back & ATV managing there cattle and scouting for game. Licensed to hunt on the Santa Fe National Forest, which is over 1.6 million acres, plus thousands of acres of private land ensure the hunter of having opportunity to see game no matter what month or season being hunted. Terrain varies from Pinion & Sage to Aspen & Blue Spruce, in elevations from 7000 to 9500 ft. These zones have high success rates in drawing tags for non-residents, by having landowner tags available, this outfitter ensures the option of guaranteeing a hunt for the hunter who is unsuccessful in drawing a tag.

It is no secret that New Mexico offers world class Elk hunting, and this area is no exception. Opportunities at 250-300” bulls are common and 350” plus bulls do in habit these zones! Hunting with archery tackle during the rut in September is sure to leave the hunter in awe! This outfitter specializes in this style of hunting, getting the hunter in close, using calling techniques to help ensure the heart pounding action that we all dream of! Muzzleloader hunting in October during the tail end of the rut is still a very exciting time to be in this area, the outfitter encourages smoke pole hunters to come hunt during this season. General fire arms in late October and early November is very popular, as seeing large numbers of Elk is common as they prepare to head for winter grounds. Not to be left out is some of the best Mule deer hunting in the West! Boone & Crockett Bucks are taken in these zones every year, and add a bonus to an Elk hunt or can be the target species! The outfitter also offers limited hunts for antelope on private land, plus Oryx on the White Sands Military Range in southern N.M. This hunt takes place during a time of year when most aren’t thinking of big game as the season runs from January to February. For the hunter who is lucky enough to draw a tag for this species, this can be a slam dunk hunt for a very reasonable price!

When you arrive at the ranch you will be staying in a modern four bedroom home, with all of the amenities for a comfortable hunt! All hunts include meals and lodging with hearty home cooked food and plenty of snacks and beverages provided for your pack each day. Any special diets will be gladly accepted and accommodations can be made. Hunters can be picked up at the Albuquerque air port or the hunter can rent a vehicle and directions to meet will be arranged. The outfitter will assist with any info needed for applications in license drawing, plus will help arrange meat processing and taxidermy service if desired.
